Technology in Early Childhood Classrooms

I came across this video on YouTube, and it is a report on how the teachers within the particular school use technology in early childhood family education classrooms.

The Educators talk about how they can use technology such as the interactive white board in order to engage the children in different learning activities. Some of these activities include reading stories, marking the role in the mornings, name recognition of self and other children, shapes and numeracy skills and literacy skills including phonics.

It was also stated in the video, that the smart board is also beneficial for children on the autism spectrum, children with developmental delays, and speech only children. In my next blog, I will unpack this statement a little more, and how this technology is benificial for diverse learning needs.
